My blog is a mixture of everything I love and my life.

orriculum:

curses can protect the caster

curses can be written to teach people lessons

curses are often the only available option to those being abused

curses are a form of non-confrontational self-defense, ideal for those who are in an abusive situation.

so please just fucking stop curse-shaming regardless of your own experiences you absolutely DO. NOT. have the right to dictate or shame someone else’s practice or reasons for cursing.

Samhain Spooncraft: Intent

Something that can really be said of any sort of witchcraft (if you chose to practice in such a way) is that it’s all about the intent. *You* are the magic. So a lot of the low spoon spells I do are just infusing intent into my daily life. I went over that with the post about laundry but it can really be true of everything. Making coffee? Stir it and think of it giving you energy. If it’s tea maybe give it the purpose of creating calm. Whatever it means to you. Try it with pens, laptops- use your intent to make a specific sweatshirt your “get Shit done” sweatshirt. Whatever you have, you can give it a purpose with your intent and it doesn’t have to use a lot of energy.
